I’m Dorran, a recent Animation and Illustration graduate stemming from North Yorkshire.

I created this site to host my portfolio and to showcase any work that I have made or am in the process of making. Feel free to browse through and note that I am currently looking for any kind of creative work. I am always willing to learn a new skill and would love to have a great amount of varied experiences.

CREATIVE EXPERIENCE:

I am experienced in;
The Adobe suite – Specifically Audition, Animate, After Effects, Photoshop and InDesign.
TV Paint
Clip Studio
Maya

I have worked in 3D, 2D and physical media having done stop motion and pixelation work alongside developing my digital animation portfolio work.

I am also experienced in writing as the primary script creator in group projects while at uni and a general fiction author in my own time with my work having been succesfully published in ‘Beyond the Walls’ (a short story anthology by St John University).

PERSONAL INTEREST:

I’m a big fiction fan! Playing table top games with my own original characters, reading lots of books and comics and drawing out plans for personal creative projects exploring the lives of a very large cast of characters I have been working on since 2020.
I love working on robot designs and scifi world building, I am especially inspired by media like Astroboy, Pacific Rim and Transformers. My icon as a result is inspired by welders who might work on big robots!
